My school radio air challenge (Part 2)

Airport Express with Airtunes arrived. I hooked it up via ethernet cable (since a lot of people reported drop-outs when connected via WLAN) and there we have a 24/7 digital connection to our kids house sound system, which needs no user action to playback a iTunes stream.

As a bonus i installed iTunesAlarm. It’s the only available tool that plays back a iTunes playlist and stops at the end of that playlist (all the other tools keep repeating the selected songs untill you hit Snooze or Stop! or something).

So when i am done recording our daily Wakeup radioshow, i import it into iTunes, drag it to the Wakeup! playlist and let technology do the rest. I won back one hour of beautysleep! :)

After one week of resarch i gathered a lot of info about this, so i will try to answer any questions about Airtunes or iTunes schedule problems (be it pc or mac based) when you leave a question as a comment.
