When I upload a picture to my online photoalbum Flickr, I want it to appear on my blog as well — that’s what I have a blog for, right? Okay, but I don’t want to do this by hand, especially not the part where I have to create a new article for every single picture, because I usually upload pictures directly from the iPhone — which is fairly easy with the Mobile Fotos app —, but that should be it. I don’t want to do it all twice, explicitly not on such a small screen.
So i was searching the web for a way to automate this. Most people just include their Flickr feed somewhere in their blogs sidebar to let people outside of Flickr know of the updates. But I want more. I want them right here, among ordinary articles and pages (to be treated with the same level of importance), so people don’t have to leave my site if they e.g. want to comment on them.
Long story short, I think I found the perfect way to do this. All i have to do now is upload to Flickr and a new article appears on my blog with the picture and its short story, the description. Want to know what I did? Read More
Take the iPhone applications PhotoForge, Mill Colour, Photogene, Colorcanvas and Typedrawing, add a picture of me and you got yourself a serious nonsense composition setup to waste some precious hours.
Only thing I am missing now is the layers functionality from Photoshop. And guess what: if you google for “Layers” and “iPhone app” you’ll find the Layers iPhone app. So excited!

What a Capostrophe!
Here’s to the (crazy) ones, who have no idea how to type an apostrophe on their Windows or Macintosh keyboards. It’s really not that hard.
It’s a neverending story, capostrophes are fucking everywhere. Ever wondered where & when to place an apostroph and what it actually does? Look:
Thanks to the late Sir Kingsley Amis for the inspiration.
