First 5 minutes of Blindness

There is a new movie opening this weekend called Blindness, starring Mark Ruffalo, Julianne Moore & Danny Glover — perfect combination!

“A doctor's wife becomes the only person with the ability to see in a town where everyone is struck with a mysterious case of sudden blindness.”

I find sudden blindness more horrifying than zombies or “snakes on a motherfucking plane”. Here are the first 5 minutes:

More “minutes” available.

The book by Nobel Prize winning author José Saramago that this movie is based on, is one of my all-tme favourite novels. If you haven't read it, then please do.
I'm off to watch that movie clip now.

Did some research about this movie and indeed the book is written by José Saramago" Ensaio sobre a cegueira", translated as "City of the blind people "( in Dutch).I had a bit of a laugh , though I should not be, but I read that in the USA the Association for Blind People was very angry as they said"we are not like that, our behaviour is different even under such circumstances". On which the journalist asked:" well yeh, but have they actually SEEN the movie?"
