Just wanted to remind (or inform) you that tonights Layer Tennis match will be held entirely on the Adobe Illustrator court! That’s right, no pixel throwing this time, only vectors. Me is hooked already! Fuck the MTV Awards on high rotation.

To quote myself: “A mathematical death-match between two aesthetics.”

So you get an idea: Following image shows the drop dead beautiful ornament font (“which happens to contain letterforms”) called Restraint, by Marian Bantjes, one of the contestants. Canada for president!

    Thanks for the reminder!
Sorry haven’t got around to answering your mail yet. I haven’t forgotten you :)
Restraint is nice. Did you look at the pdf usage guide for this? Impressive.

    No worries, John.

Oh, i must have misread that, i just thought it is a pdf preview of the font — a usage guide sounds interesting indeed — will check it out when my fingers arrive at room temperature again, just got home from a bicycle trip. 45 min. to go and the match starts. I think Marian will sack that one in.

I just had to order it after i read the user guide. Can’t wait to use it, think i will surprise my gf with an artprint sporting that lovely restraint. Yay!
