What is graphic design - the competition
Veerle Pieters had the idea to start a contest with the question “what is graphic designâ€. The outcome is outstanding! So many great contributions! I don’t care who will win, since the contributions are already the biggest win we all could get: If someone will ask you the next time, what graphic design is, just point them to that picture pool.
I decided to not explain graphic design with some “spectacular†graphic design—although, as usual, it took me a awful long time to choose the right font for my statements—, but after all, even a simple page with 6 sentences required some serious thoughts and fiddling around to make it look attractive.
Veerle probably remembers my name because of my unpolished tongue and will just throw up a little when she will spot it, but i can’t change the way i am, and if my entry does look like bloody fucking shit to anyone, i will gladly take that as a constructive critic if they feel like saying so
